Specified for one of four home design in A Place like Home exhibit

Spanish bathroom manufacturer Roca is set to participate in the Landmark Project at London’s Trafalger Square, as part of the London Design Festival from September 13-21, 2014.

In collaboration with Airbnb, the Landmark Project called A Place Like Home brings together four designers to create their own interpretation of a home. the four homes will appear similar in construction from the outside but have their own identity within.

Raw Edges, one of the designers, has chosen Roca sanitaryware and brassware for inclusion in its design, including the Khroma over-counter basin, Element wall-hung WC and Loft Elite basin mixer. The products will feature in a home inspired by a movable archive system, offering the opportunity to transform the rooms.

According to Raw Edges “the design shows how, with limited space and an imaginative approach, it’s possible to make the most of even the smallest living area within a densely populated city”.

Communications & Events Executive at Roca London Gallery, Caroline Kilgour commented: “The London Design Festival is always a busy time for Roca, but to have our products also chosen to appear within the Landmark Project, in the iconic setting of Trafalgar Square is very exciting.”

She added: “We’re looking forward to seeing the products in situ as part of the Raw Edges design.”

No stranger to exhibiting in unusual ways, Roca featured a giant toilet on its stand at Ecobuild in 2013.
