Paul Roper commented on Leigh Leather’s promotion: “It is of great comfort to me that my replacement is an internal candidate and his appointment assures that the company will continue to be run with the same values and ethos that Mark Roper and I have tried to maintain.”
He will now focus on the Roper Family Charitable Trust, working with charities and good causes in and around the Bath and North East Somerset region.
Sons of the founder Brian Roper, Mark Roper will remain company Chairman and Paul Roper remains a non-executive director and major shareholder.
