Former Hacker UK MD joins Rotpunkt to lead sales in all markets

German kitchen furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has appointed Sven Herden managing director.

His role will see him focus on sales and marketing for all markets and takes effect from January 1, 2019.

Previously Sven Herden has been responsible for the UK market, as managing director of Hacker Own Brand.

He has also held the position of export sales manager at Hacker.

Herden now joins the three-man board which includes management partners Andreas Wagner and Heinz-Jurgen Meyer.

In a statement the board partners stated: “We are glad to have found a new colleague who stands for innovation and internationality.

“We’ve demonstrated continuous double digit growth during 2018 and will continue to invest in the future of Rotpunkt Kitchens.

“Now we want to move forward on this route with Sven Herden.

“We will get new ideas from him for our business and we hope to benefit from his former experience.”

Speaking about his appointment, Sven Herden said: “I’m really looking forward to be part of a highly motivated team in this family-run business and want to help with my experience to drive the company further forward.”

Rotpunkt recently expanded its factory to meet the needs of its UK market.
