Roxor Group has announced its intention to acquire independent bathroom retailer Better Bathrooms for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition, which is subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority, will include Better Bathrooms nationwide network of 15 stores, an e-commerce platform, plus its UK-based customer service centre.
Better Bathrooms will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Roxor Group but will continue as an independent entity and will be run under its own management team and structure.
It will sit alongside Roxor Group’s companies, which include Ultra Finishing, Niko, The Fireclay Factory, PTB, PTB Manufacturing and BCDI.
Speaking about the acquisition, CEO of Roxor Group Dave Cullen commented: “The acquisition of Better Bathrooms is excellent news for Roxor Group and Better Bathrooms.
“As a separate entity, Better Bathrooms has a unique proposition of linking retail to online and back form online to retail. It sits as part of the group portfolio and gives the business the growth opportunities that it requires.”
Cullen added: “The acquisition of Better Bathrooms makes Roxor a substantially larger group, effectively doubling its size and presence in the marketplace. It also forms part of Roxor Group’s ambitious growth strategy enhancing our competitive position in the market.”
Holding company Ultra Finishing Group was renamed the Roxor Group in 2017.
