The Society of British & International Interior Design (SBID) has announced the winners of its Product Design Awards, as part of its annual Awards.

They also included its International Design Excellence Awards for projects, including best KBB category.

Aquabella scooped Bathroom Product for its Smart Quiz Shower tray, which combines three textured high-definition finishes. It combines Beton, which has a texture of manually handled cement,  Zero, which is a minimalist microtexture and Ethnic which combines wood and cement finishes.

SBID announces winners of Product Design Awards 1

Ego by Giulini Rubinetteria won the Brassware category, which was created for the company by Marco Poletti. It features the Slim Air SSR Honeycomb aerator which reduces water flow to 5.7 litres/minute.

Boxlife from Scavolini was named the winner of the Furniture – Contract category. The heart of the design is based upon the ability to conceal elements of the kitchen, which can be used in linear, U-shaped or corner projects.

The Balmoral radiator from Bisque was named best product in the Cooling & Heating category. It combines a classic radiator shape with towel rail featuring ball joints and is suited to vintage bathrooms or industrial spaces.

Armac Martin scooped the Ironmongery & Metalworks category for its Mix collection of cabinet hardware. The industrial-inspired collection features cabinet pulls, knobs and caps, each in three designs and a choice of 20 brass finishes.

The Kitchen category winner was named as Quooker for its Quooker Flex with Cube, an instant boiling water tap with pull-out hose. The Cube accessory allows the tap to also provide chilled and sparkling water, in addition to boiling and standard hot and cold supplies.

While the Sanitaryware category was awarded to Sheng Thai Brassware for its Justime Lucky 7 basin and tap. The combined basin and tap reportedly decreases the time and cost of production.

The Overall winner was presented to Northstone Contemporary Terrazzo for its Fine Lines by Barbieri.
