Part of retailers pledge to promote British manufacturing
Sebastian Conran for Belling Design has been selected to showcase for John Lewis as part of its pledge to promote British manufacturing.
John Lewis has pledged to increase its sales of products made in Britain by 15% in the next two years.
Belling is part of GDHA (Glen Dimplex Home Appliances), one of the few major cooking manufacturers still producing in the UK.
Chief executive of Belling Denver Hewlett commented: “We have long been advocates of British manufacturing, so to support such an iconic British brand such as John Lewis and its movement to increasing sales of British-made homewares makes us really proud”.
