The Shower Market Report forecasts steady growth of 2-4% per year from 2020 until 2023.

And it states there is a significant and ongoing demand for replacement products, with manufacturers offering ‘easy to install and replace’ equipment in order to encourage upgrades.

In addition, it reports the growing use of the internet has raised expectations and awareness of affordable, design-led products.

And it indicates the growth of online retailing means  price comparison has been made easier for consumers, affording homeowners greater scope and choice.

But The Shower Market Report also points to the “improve don’t move” trend which will continue to drive demand in the RMI sector and provide upgrades to higher quality shower products

For the higher value shower, the report states “flexibility, durability and ease of use are also key requirements”, and indicates digital showers are set to grow at a steady rate.

It forecast the rate of growth of digital showers will be inline with the use of digital technology and smart devices around the home.

The Shower Market Report further states digital showers will continue to take share from other shower control sectors, particularly mixer and power showers.
