SAGL has pledged £5,000 to kick-start the appeal and is asking for other kbb companies to add their support.

Skeete is asking the kbb industry to back the appeal and help raise funds to maintain a 24-hour help line, along with other essential services.

She said: “The helpline will be targeted towards children, with dedicated counsellors offering the support they need.

“It can also be accessed by adults. If adults are more aware of their own mental health, then our children have a better opportunity to get the life they deserve.

“The pandemic has brought new challenges for many children who urgently need help. We are looking for at least 10 more companies to join SAGL and make a donation.

“Companies that come on board as supporters will be offered wellness checks and discounted wellness reviews for employees, as well as the opportunity to take part in the next Courageous Kids Award.”

Group MD of SAGL Simon Acres added: “We are delighted to be working with Suzanne, helping to raise awareness of mental health and wellness in our industry.

“To further support this appeal, we will be releasing a series of KBB specific advice films later this month.

“I hope that many other companies will join us in supporting Suzanne and take this opportunity to create something good in these difficult times.”
