50’s photobooth campaign
Appliance manufacturer Smeg joined forces with Co-operative Electrical for an interactive campaign at the retailer’s new central Manchester HQ.
For the two-day event, staff and customers were invited to don a variety of 50’s inspired retro accessories and strike a pose behind the wheel of a vibrant yellow FAB Smeg500 Fiat drinks cooler in an Italian Job styled set, complete with a trio of colourful Smeg FAB fridge-freezers.
As well as a photograph to take away, participants were able to engage with members of the Smeg team who were on hand to provide further information about the brand, while also having the chance to win an iconic 50’s-style FAB28 fridge.
John Davies, Smeg’s brand manager, says: “The campaign was a great success and a fantastic way for both Smeg and Co-op Electrical to engage with customers in a fun and creative way. We hope everyone who took part enjoyed it as much as we did and learnt a little more about our extensive range of design-led appliances.”
