British manufacturer Stone Cookers officially launched to UK kitchen retailers at the Marco Pierre White-owned Rudloe Arms Hotel, near Bath.
Around 15 years in the making, the company is led by founder Michael McGinley who used to recondition heat storage cookers.
He now owns Stone Cookers which manufacturers its own heat storage ovens from a Bedfordshire-based factory.

Having previewed the brand at Ideal Home Show, last year, Stone Cookers is now seeking a network of UK kitchen retailers.
The challenger brand has already gained attention from rockstar celebrity chef Marco Pierre White (MPW), who has taken shares in the company.
Designed for “progressive refurbishers”, who buy luxury brands with a contemporary aesthetic, Stone Cookers offers four models, the 600, 1100, 1700 and the MPW Signature edition.
The MPW model comes complete with an exclusive meal for two at Rudloe Arms, owned by Marco Pierre White, along with an autographed and framed photo of the chef.
Stone cookers are electric-only and feature stone lined ovens, come with a choice of iron plate or induction hob, and in 25 front panel colours, with or without Union Jack.
Customers can also choose from lids in Brushed Steel, Polished Steel or coloured enamel.
Whereas the MPW Signature model comes in Gloss Black with chrome lids with an engraved MPW crest.
Each Stone cooker also comes with a custom Bluetooth handset and features WiFi Smart Control, when using a compatible mobile app.
Commenting at the launch, Marco Pierre White said the story of the company enthralled him, but it was only personal conviction which allowed him to state: “This is a great British product made in Britain, by the British, for the British market.
“There’s no better traditional stove on the market. The Stone cooker, in my opinion, is the best.
“I’m saying it because I believe it. I feel very privileged to have been invited to become involved.”
