A team of sales and processing staff are also working remotely to support operations.

It has been achieved following last year’s completion of a 5-year investment plan which saw the automation of production lines and implementation of a 20/20 computer system.

Bodie Kelay, managing director of Euromobel UK which is a sales agent for Stormer and Villeroy & Boch kitchens said: “We have put plans in place with our UK logistics partners where kitchens are produced, loaded and stored, ready to go once “essential transport only” restrictions are lifted and showrooms re-open.

“We fully understand the seriousness of this global pandemic and are in touch daily with the factories and our customers to ensure seamless communication.

“Our priority is for everyone to stay safe!”

Established in 1958, Stormer employs around 190 people and sells worldwide, with half of its turnover from the export market.

It has a combined production area of 45,000sqm to provide more than 1,000 pieces of furniture each day.
