Range cookers and induction hobs chosen for refurbishment

Appliance brand Stoves has teamed up with Shropshire-based Brompton Cookery School to update its kitchen with range cookers, hobs and hoods.

Led by TV chef Marcus Bean, who appears on ITV This Morning, and his wife Jenny, Brompton Cookery School is based on a National Trust property near Shrewsbury and offers classes for adults and children.

The custom-built classroom caters for 16 people at a time, and it has been refurbished with nine Stoves Sterling 900Ei range cookers in stainless steel, as well as induction hobs.

Partner at Brompton Cookery School Marcus Bean, said: “We are delighted to use Stoves ovens in the cookery school as they provide all the space and features we need for our classes, and the induction hobs are safer, cleaner and more energy efficient.”

“It was also important to us that the appliances are made in the UK. We’re firm believers in using local producers and seasonal ingredients. So it’s great that we have been able to continue this ethos with our cooking appliances too.”

Head of marketing communications for Stoves, Jane Rylands, said: “The classes that Marcus and the team at Brompton Cookery School provide help would-be chefs and home cooks really make a statement in the kitchen, and that is also something our appliances are aimed at helping people to do.

“We’re really proud of our heritage and made-in-Britain credentials so partnering with a school that has such a great focus on using locally sourced ingredients to create show-stopping meals is perfect for us too.”
