Domestic appliance manufacturer Hoover has been awarded Superbrands status for 2020/21, for the second year in a row.

In addition, consumer votes also considers short and long-term factors, such as the brand’s current profile, latest marketing activities, new product or service developments to provide a picture of how the brand is perceived.

As part of its latest marketing activity, Hoover committed to working with TV chef and restauranteur Simon Rimmer until 2022.

The Superbrands organisation honours brands throughout the world and has been tracking the perception of consumer brands in the UK since 2001.

Voting involves 2,500 UK consumers, supplemented by an expert council comprising 30 senior industry figures.

This year’s survey evaluated a shortlist of 1,600 consumer-facing brands across 74 categories, with the highest regarded brands awarded Superbrand status.
