Appliance manufacturer Swan Products has announced a record year in terms of sales, business growth and development.

Manufacturer of small and major domestic appliances Swan Products has announced its biggest year to date in terms of sales, business growth and development.

The manufacturer claim it was partly due to the collaboration with DJ and cookbook author Fearne Cotton, which saw a launch of the Ferne by Swan range of kitchenware and cookware.

Swan Products report sales of the Fearne by Swan range achieved sales 20% ahead of targeted and attracted nationwide retailers and e-tailers, such as Next, Very, Dixons and Euronics to stock the range.

The end of the year also saw Swan Products acquire the Swan brand back from the Shop Direct Group, which it had bought from Moulinex in 2002.

As well as this, the company reports it received numerous awards, including the Exclusively Housewares On Trend award, and returned to exhibit at IFA 2017.

Commercial director at Swan Products Rob Wileman commented: “2017 has been such a fantastic year. Since 2009 we have been committed to reintroducing the Swan brand in the UK and it is a real joy to be able to celebrate and see our vision realised. In the current, unpredictable climate, we are extremely proud to have achieved this and to now be in complete control of future plans and development is extremely exciting.

“We won’t be taking this for granted though, with exciting launches for both the Fearne by Swan and Retro ranges planned for this year. We are also looking to develop the brand internationally in Canada, USA, Bahrain, South Korea and South Africa, as well as potentially producing some of our products in the UK.”
