Kitchen appliances, sinks, taps and accessories distributor Swift has appointed Anthony Sant as joint managing director.

Swift names Anthony Sant joint MD

He joins current managing director Chris Honer and operations director Sharon Honer, to form the new management team, based at Stoke on Trent.

It will see Chris Honer focused on sales and marketing, Anthony Sant overseeing strategy, IT, purchasing and finance and Sharon Honer with responsibility for customer experience, warehousing, and logistics.

Sant brings a wealth of experience and strategic acumen to Swift, having previously held roles at AO Group, AO Business, AO Recycling and WEEE Reuse it.

As managing director of AO Business and group business development director at AO World, he expanded of the company’s B2B proposition, achieving revenue and profitability growth.

His previous roles have also included contributions to recycling and reuse initiatives.

The company has also recently restructured its sales team to adopt a stronger proactive account management and digital focus. This strategic shift will better align the company with the customer behaviours and needs.

Established for 40 years, Swift supplies Creda, Indesit, Hotpoint, Hoover, Candy, New World and Franke, and delivers appliances retailers at least twice a week in most areas of England and Wales.

Sinks, taps and accessories can be delivered direct to the consumers home, if required, next day to all parts of mainland UK.
