The IPG opens a trio of flagship stores with three of its members

Plumbing and heating buying group The IPG is set to open three flagship stores across the UK, with three of its members.

The first of the three stores, Newline Plumbing & Heating Supplies is based in Kingswinford, in the West Midlands.

The IPG has worked with Newline to relaunch the store, looking at layout optimisation through to store fascias.

Newline is due to unveil its new-look store on August 27, with guests including The Mayor of Dudley at the opening.

Founded in 1986 by Mike Kendrick, Newline began in Oldbury selling plumbing and heavy side building materials.

The business was then taken on by his son, Steve Kendrick, who  began working alongside his father in 1997.

Following growth, the family-run business relocated to Kingswinford and Steve Kendrick took over the business in 2017

Steve Kendrick commented: “Today marks a milestone for Newline, I believe the future will be as strong as the foundation our partnership has been built on and I am excited for the times ahead.

“With the IPGs support, we have a store and a new website that we can be very proud of.

“We understand that an online presence is an important part of the customer experience today and our new store and website presents us in a professional way.”
