Titus Group acquires Simon Group’s Kinetics division

Acquisition will provide more solutions in cabinet fittings

Cabinet hardware manufacturer Titus Group has acquired Simon Group’s Kinetics division for furniture fitting, supporting its long-term business growth.

Titus Group believes the acquisition provides a stronger technical competence and a wider range of solutions in damping, soft-closing systems, push-to-open mechanism and cabinet accessories.

These span use in furniture, bathroom equipment, white goods, automotive and caravanning sectors.

It also reports the acquisition will provide an opportunity for a wider reach and global support to customers, as well as new product innovations from a merged offering in soft-closing and push-to-open systems.

In addition, the hardware component company stated it can develop Simon Group’s furniture fitting sector “faster and more successfully than the previous structures would allow.”

Owner and executive chairman of Titus Group Robert Appleby commented: “Simon Kinetics has had a long relationship to Titus Group.

Titus recently launched Terablack versions of its most popular products at KBB Birmingham.
