Door and accessory supplier celebrates silver anniversary
Supplier of doors and accessories, TKC celebrated 25 years of business, with a three-day event held at the company’s headquarters in Denton, Manchester.
The Open Event was attended by more than 300 guests, including customers, associates and members of the press and was hosted in a giant marquee.
It included a ’25 years of TKC wall’, which charted the company’s growth from starting in managing director Tom Kelly’s garage in 1989 to becoming its current size, employing 100 people with a £16million turnover, and having recently launched Vivo in a Cashmere finish.

The celebration also saw a preview of the company’s forthcoming website redesign, due for launch in Spring 2015, which will offer online ordering for the first time.
In addition, the event also saw the unveiling of a Research Zone, which showcased potential doors and finishes, plus renderings by ArtiCAD of how kitchens may look in the future.
Commenting on the company’s recent celebrations Tom Kelly said, “The Open Event was all about saying a big thank you to all our customers and staff who have supported us across the past 25 years and we would like to thank everybody who helped us to mark the occasion.
“Kitchens have become the focal point of the home and, going forward, we won’t be resting on our laurels. As well as our forthcoming online ordering system, we have plans to invest £500,000 early next year in an additional 13,750 square-foot satellite warehouse, which will enable us to extend the stock colours currently available for our existing door ranges.”
