Great North Run completed, carrying 42kg Smeg fridge

Tony is raising money for Cancer Research. His previous challenges include running 30 half-marathons in 30 days

Smeg UK brand manager John Davies said: “Tony the Fridge has become a good friend of Smeg UK over the years and we always look forward to cheering him on in his very worthy challenges. Most people would find it difficult to even lift one of our fridges, no doubt run 100 miles with one strapped to their back. But if anyone can do it, it’s Tony.”
