Two millionth Mira Flight shower tray produced

Event celebrated at its £6million facility in East Riding, Hull

Leading UK shower manufacturer Mira Showers has celebrated the production of its two millionth Mira Flight shower tray.

At its £6million facility in East Riding, Hull, Mira Showers associates and the media gathered to witness the production of the landmark tray.

The event was attended by Margaret Chadwick, chairman of East Riding Council, and Peter Allen, Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull, who cut the ribbon to signify the accomplishment.

Launched in 2004, the shower tray is made from durable, acrylic-capped resin stone and is scratch and chip resistant.

The shower tray has also received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category for its Mira Flight Safe anti-slip shower tray.
