Design Awards judges announced by UK Bathrooms

Judging panel comprises four industry experts

Online retailer UK Bathrooms has named the judges of its inaugural Design Awards which are open to professionals and homeowners.

The panel includes interior design and lifestyle journalist Amy Moorea Wong, former features editor of Elle Decoration.

As well as writing and commissioning editorial content for Elle Decoration, she edited the bi-annual 100-page Bathroom and Kitchen Guides.

She is joined by head of channel marketing at Hansgrohe UK Sarah Evans, who has spent 20 years in the bathroom industry and has a wealth of industry knowledge from product design through to sales.

Darren Paxford, national sales manager for VitrA, also joins the judging panel and has more than 30 years in the bathroom industry.

He commented: “I am excited to be part of the UK Bathrooms Design Awards and I will be particularly looking for innovation in the entrants approach across all of the categories.”

Completing the judging panel is UK Bathrooms’ managing director Graeme Borchard who has experience in commercial and consumer interiors, a background in project management and a keen eye for design detail.

Architect, interior designers and homeowners can enter the UK Bathrooms Design Awards online.

There are three categories for homeowners, which include: Best Design, Best Traditional Design or Best Contemporary Design.

While professionals can enter three categories: Best Architect/Interior Designer Bathroom, Best Hotel/Guest House/Restaurant Bathroom and Best Trades Person Bathroom.

The judging process will take place in June 2020.
