Online retailer UK Bathrooms has launched its first Design Awards, which is open to professionals and homeowners.

Professionals can enter best architect/interior designer bathroom, best hotel/guest house/restaurant bathroom or best trades bathroom and win £500 worth of products from the retailer.

Whereas homeowners can choose to enter best design, where the prize is £500 worth of Love 2 Shop vouchers, or best traditional bathroom/best contemporary bathroom to win Villeroy & Boch tableware worth £500.

Managing director at UK Bathrooms Graeme Borchard commented on the Awards launch: “As the leading online store for premium designer bathroom products, we sell to thousands of homeowners and professionals and decided that it was time to give something back and to recognise some of the stunning bathrooms that are being created in homes and businesses across the UK.

“The UK Bathrooms Design Awards have been launched to recognise innovation in bathroom design.

We’ll be looking at sources of inspiration, clever use of spaces, product choice, overall design and lifestyle features.”

The entries will be judged by a panel of experts which includes Amy Moorea Wong, ex-features editor of Elle Decoration, interior design and lifestyle Journalist, national sales manager of VitrA UK Darren Paxford and MD of UK Bathrooms Graeme Borchard.

The awards are open now and can be entered online, with the judging decision taking place in June 2020.
