UK MD of Ideal Standard to step down

CEO Torsten Turling has taken the role of interim MD for UK & Ireland

Managing director of UK & Ireland for Ideal Standard Jim Moore is set to relinquish his role at the end of May.

Jim Moore joined the company in August 2016 and succeeded the interim managing director David Barber who had himself assumed the role in January 2016.

Prior to working with Ideal Standard, Moore had served 12 years at the Vaillant Group in senior management positions.

The UK and Ireland business will now be led by interim UK MD and Ideal Standard’s CEO Torsten Turling until a successor can be found.

A statement provided by Ideal Standard read: “At the end of May, Jim Moore will leave the position of Managing Director – UK Cluster at Ideal Standard International. We expect to announce Jim’s successor shortly. Until that time, Torsten Türling, Ideal Standard International’s CEO, will step into the role as interim UK MD with immediate effect.

“We thank Jim for the contribution he made to the UK business and wish him success in the future. The UK leadership team continues to be fully focused on realising our clear business strategy and continuing the delivery of growth in our important 200th anniversary year.”
