Villeroy & Boch Group will present its newly integrated business, and refurbished Design & Specification Centre, during Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), from May 20-22.

It follows the recent acquisition and subsequent integration of the Ideal Standard business.

The UK business will be led by managing director Lisa Whitfield and supply global brands Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard, alongside established local brand Armitage Shanks.

As part of the restructure, the Ideal Standard Design & Specification Centre in Clerkenwell will be rebranded and showcase both Ideal Standard and Villeroy & Boch bathroom ranges.

It will feature the new Skyla bathroom range from Villeroy & Boch, shower toilets, WCs and mixers, as well as the Antao collection of basins, furniture, mirrors, taps and bathtub, with shape inspired by dewdrops.

Ideal Standard will be showcasing its sustainable Alu+ showering collection, including a new bronze finish, alongside Solos, integrated mixer/basin and showers with integrated overhead lights, plus the La Dolce Vita collection.

Meanwhile, the Villeroy & Boch showroom at London’s Business Design Centre will pivot to exclusively focus on its Dining & Lifestyle division

Alongside the latest products, the company will be hosting an exclusive VIP event on May 21 from 6pm, followed by an evening of celebration on May 22, from 6pm..

Villeroy & Boch Group has also partnered with Dezeen at Clerkenwell Design Week, to host the ‘Shaping Water’  competition to challenge designers to create a large-scale installation for St John’s Gate, an historic location in the heart of Clerkenwell.

The challenge is to create an installation that draws from the functional and aesthetic qualities of water, recognising its dynamic nature and  transformative effect on wellbeing.

The bathroom manufacturer is also supporting three panel events, in partnership with Dezeen, at the Charterhouse.

It will include the Dezeen competition winner who will join Dezeen’s Max Fraser to discuss their design concept on May 20 at 1.00pm.

The “Bold Bathrooms: Creating expressive wellness spaces” panel will take place on May 21, at 1.00pm, and discuss the importance of expressive bathroom designs.

The third panel, which takes place on May 22,at 1.00pm  “Embedding wellness into homes, the workplace, hospitality and beyond”, will highlight the growing importance of self-care and wellbeing.
