Sanitaryware supplier is main sponsor of local, professional rugby club
Sanitaryware equipment supplier Wirquin is the main sponsor of Doncaster Knights Rugby Club for the 2014/2015 season, with its brand featuring on the strip and around the ground.
The company, which manufactures the brands Celmac, Macdee and Wirquin Pro, has a plant based in the Yorkshire town and is headed up by MD and Founder Gwenhael Le Coent who is a rugby fan.
He believes there is a synergy between the family-run company’s working culture and club including team spirit, performance, pride and respect.

Commenting on the decision to sponsor the club, Le Coent commented: “This is a great opportunity to raise local brand awareness, to support the local community and to invite our clients to join us for action-packed days at the ground. There is a natural fit between the club and the company and lots of opportunities to work together and support each other.”
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
