The opening of the 12,230sqft showroom has created more than 20 jobs spanning managers, designers and surveyors.

Wren Kitchens Blackburn showroom manager, Helen Winstanley, has watched the showroom being transformed over the last few months.

She said: “We’ve completely renovated the former Onit Furniture store to our impeccable high standards, so that we can offer an inspirational space for our customers to discover a world of affordable, luxury tailored kitchens.

“Since launching 10 years ago, this is Wren’s 82nd showroom with recently opened Sunderland and Tamworth stores, and we look forward to being part of the Blackburn community for many years to help make dream kitchens become reality.”

The company has also recently invested over £1million into the opening of a 16,000sqft showroom in Exeter.

The Blackburn showroom forms part of Wren’s wider expansion plans, to open 14 showrooms across the UK this year.

Wren designs and manufactures kitchen furniture in its Yorkshire and Lincolnshire factories.

It delivers them in its fleet of over 180 lorries and  the kitchens are then installed by its own fitting team.
