Boosting sales team and showroom centres
Instant hot, chilled and sparkling water tap manufacturer Zip is set to ramp up its UK presence, trebling its residential sales force and opening two additional showrooms, adding to its existing location in Clerkenwell, London.
The residential sales team of three will be led by Justin McDonald, from its Australian parent company, and will include an area sales manager for Birmingham and one for the Manchester area. This team has been tasked with doubling residential sales and they add to the commercial sales team, which already numbers 30.
Birmingham and Manchester will also become the sites for the Zip showrooms, each of which will be staffed by four employees, and will boast a similar-sized display area to its London premises.

Both will be sited in central locations, with the Birmingham showroom sited on Navigation Street between Birmingham New Street train station and The Mailbox, and the Manchester showroom based on the shopping thoroughfare of Deansgate.
Work has begun on the Manchester showroom, which is due to open by the end of the year, with Birmingham expected to open early next year.
In addition, Zip has invested £100,000 in a consumer advertising, pull campaign so consumers start asking for the product by name.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
