The Zuma van offers a 360° sound and light display, to train retailers on its products with on-site demonstrations and training on the installation of its multiroom wireless audio system.

It includes the Zuma Lumisonic, which combines pre-sets soundscapes for whole house audio with circadian rhythm lighting in a recessed downlight.

Having launched in 2019, the company is led by industrial designer Morten Warren, with the product developed by a team of acoustic engineers, including Trevor Wilson, ex-Naim Audio, and creator of the B&W Nautilus loudspeaker Laurence Dickie.

Founder and CEO of Zuma Morten Warren commented on the investment into the mobile showroom: “The aim behind the van was to make it as convenient as possible for people to experience our product.

“Zuma needs to be experienced to be understood – once people hear and see it in action, our conversion rate is incredibly high, at almost 100%.

“As such, having a mobile demonstration platform allows us to reach customers who might otherwise be hesitant to commit.”

He continued: “It’s also proved incredibly effective for training purposes, helping information our retail partners and specifiers how to install and operate our units.

“It’s a beautifully and cleverly designed tactile space that customers responded incredibly well to.”

In fact, Zuma reports such has been its success, that the company plans to extend its fleet of training vehicles.

“It has proved such a useful asset to our business that we are looking to expand, having specific vans for different regions, which is especially important as we enter international markets,” explains Morten Warren.

The company also believes a growth in the number of mobile showrooms will also help the company increase its current retail network, which includes West One Bathrooms and Sola Kitchens.

Head of sales Sarah Chiappi commented: “A mobile and highly personalised service is the natural next step in bringing premium service and products to interested customers.

“We are now working with over 140 retail partners across the UK and, with our expanding fleet, we are looking to increase this figure over the next 12 months.”
