InSinkErator launches 3N1 steaming water tap

In its largest launch, InSinkErator enters the three-in-one steaming tap market

 InSinkErator, owned by parent company Emerson, has launched a range of Italian-designed 3N1 kitchen taps in the company’s largest-ever launch.

Arguably better known for its disposer range in the UK, Ashley Munden, managing director of Europe for Emerson, explained the company entered the hot water tap market in 2007 and has approximately a third share of the UK market.

Munden stated the company makes 150,000 taps a year and stated: “We are probably one of, if not the largest hot water [tap] manufacturers in the world.”

Targeted for the mid-market, the WRAS-approved 3N1 delivers steaming hot (98°C), hot and cold water and comes in a choice of chrome, brushed steel or colours including Orange, Cream and Pearl White.

However Munden added if a retailer or housebuilder wanted a particular colour, then InSinkErator would provide a colour-match service for a minimum order of 15 taps.

The 3N1 comes complete with a five-year in –home limited warranty on the tap and two years on the tank.

Its launch will be supported by a trade and consumer print campaign, digital campaign and TV advertising.
