Dave Wood has been appointed operations manager of sink and tap manufacturer Abode.

He has a wealth of expertise in the kbb industry and has a career which spans 26 years.

Starting out in the warehouse at Spring Ram Bathrooms in the 1990s, Wood has held various roles for leading brands.

These include operations manager for Plumbing Imports, operations director for Bridge Fitted Furniture and operations manager for Buildbase owner Grafton Group.

In his new position at Abode, Wood will be responsible for all aspects of operations management, overseeing the growth and success of the team.

Commenting on his appointment, Dave Wood said: “The working environment at Abode, even with the current challenges borne in mind, is one that encourages teamwork, energy and creativity, enabling me to hit the ground running in my new role.

The appointment of Dave Wood, follows the announcement of national sales manager Peter Phelan’s promotion to sales director earlier this year.
