Strengthening its marketing team with brand manager appointment

Strengthening its marketing team, Beko has appointed Shalika Hooda to the role of brand manager. She joins the company with seven years’ experience, predominately in consumer electronics, including Canon, Sharp and Xeros.

Her role will be to support the brand’s 25th anniversary in the UK in 2015, across consumer advertising, digital and PR.

Hooda commented: “I am genuinely delighted to join the team at Beko – over the last few years, the brand has grown from strength to strength and it’s great to work with a team that puts the consumer at the heart of all its products. Beko understands that marketing is a key part of the NPD mix and my role includes PR, content creation, digital and above the line.2015 is an exciting year for the company, as it celebrates its 25th anniversary, so it’s a great time to come on board.”
