German bathroom manufacturer Duravit has announced the appointment of Christian Brinkmann as head of e-commerce Europe, effective from April 1, 2021.

German bathroom manufacturer Duravit has announced the appointment of Christian Brinkmann as head of e-commerce Europe, effective from April 1, 2021.

According to Duravit, the company is bolstering its expertise in e-commerce to better serve its customers’ needs and requirements.

Having graduated with a focus on marketing and strategic management, followed by more than 10 years’ experience at Phillips, Brinkmann’ role will focus on driving forward the company’s e-commerce business.

In his previous role, Brinkmann handled accounts for international e-commerce customers, including Amazon and also set up online shops, developing them into drivers of revenue.

In his new position, at Duravit, Christian Brinkmann will report directly to CEO Stephan Tahy.

Speaking on his appointment, Brinkmann said: “I’m delighted and honoured to be asked to manage Duravit’s e-commerce operations during this new and exciting chapter in the organisations’ development.

“I’m especially looking forward to working with the Duravit team to develop our business and to create added value for our customers and partners as a result.”
