He has worked for multi-national branded corporate organisations, private equity-backed and small privately-owned entrepreneurial businesses in the food and drink, professional services and healthcare sectors. In addition, he has nine years general management experience working in b2b support service businesses.

Commenting on his role, Kendrick said: “In 2014 our challenge as a business will be to focus even more on our independent merchant and retail customers, really understand how we can make doing business easier and start to develop broader solutions that help them grow their profits.

“We also plan to strengthen our offer across the range, making us even more attractive as a one-stop shop for all of our customers’ product requirements. At the same time, we will be investing in our people, process and systems capability to make sure we continue to set the benchmark for the sector and can improve the way we support our customers for years to come.”

He continued: “Our vision as a leadership team is therefore to continue to do the things our customers already value – retaining our culture and our independent merchant and retailer focus whilst developing our range, our reach, our efficiency and our responsiveness and deliver the best possible version of F&P in 2014 and beyond.”
