Slovenian-based home electronics manufacturer, Gorenje has appointed Lisa Davidson as senior national accounts manager at its new Leeds headquarters..

Her previous experience includes four years at domestic appliance manufacturer Miele, where she worked as a national account manager.

Lisa Davidson’s appointment follows Gorenje’s acquisition by appliance and electronics manufacturer HisenseGorenje’s acquisition by appliance and electronics manufacturer Hisense.

Speaking about her appointment, she  said: “I am thrilled to join the Gorenje team and I am looking forward to growing and developing the Gorenje brand and working in close partnership with national retailers across the UK.

”I am working closely with the team to develop a brand, range and channel strategy that will grow Gorenje sales and increase brand awareness amongst consumers.”

She continued: “I’m excited to work with the Gorenje teams to bring the brand to the fore on the UK market and share this with our key partners.

“I believe that there is a gap in the appliance market for premium, design and feature-led brands and I’m confident that Gorenje will continue to develop and grow into a major player in the UK appliance market.”
