Iztok Krulc joins from the Asko appliance brand

Kitchen appliance manufacturer Gorenje has appointed Iztok Krulc as managing director of its UK business.

He joins the UK from Gorenje’s premium appliance brand Asko, which is based in Sweden, and where he spent five years developing its sales and marketing strategy.

This role included direct relations with Gorenje and Asko brands and clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

Prior to Asko, Iztok spent a year with Gorenje in Slovenia, after completing an MBA in International Business and Administration at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.

Commenting on his role, Iztok said: “It is an exciting time to be a part of the Gorenje brand as we look to accelerate its presence in the UK with some exciting announcements due in the coming months.”

He added: “Gorenje is one of the few global Slovenian companies with a heritage of more than 65 years and is successful across several key European countries. I’m really looking forward to using my international experience to grow the business in the UK.”
