Hoover Candy appoints head of customer service

Wallace has nearly 30 years' customer service experience

Domestic appliance manufacturer, Hoover Candy Group, has appointed Angela Wallace as head of customer service operations at its contact centre in Bolton.

With experience spanning almost three decades, including leading customer service teams for British Gas, BskyB and Boohoo, Wallace will lead the Group’s 120-strong workforce.

The contact centre handles incoming enquiries for Hoover, Candy and Baumatic brands.

Reporting to operations director Andy Lane, her remit covers the customer service, spares, contracts, key accounts and training team.

Speaking of her appointment, Wallace said: “The business is passionate about offering great service and caring for its customers, which is a perfect fit for me.

“I believe that people do business with people, not brands and working with my team in Bolton I am confident we can deliver an exceptional service with a fully-engaged team.
