Ideal Standard has appointed Leanne Martin as UK marketing director, succeeding Katie Cope who has left the company after five years working at the bathroom manufacturer.

Leanne Martin has worked for Ideal Standard for the past 18 years and has worked across a number of departments, undertaking both UK and Group roles.

These include product development, product management and marketing, with her most recent position as head of product and specification marketing.

Martin is also a recent graduate of the Ideal Standard Leadership programme.

UK managing director at Ideal Standard Dave Barber said: “In her 18 years at Ideal Standard, Leanne has gained an unparalleled understanding of the company and wider industry.

“This, along with her commerciality and excellent leadership skills, meant that there was no doubt that she would make a brilliant new marketing director.

“We would also like to thank Katie for the creativity, energy and drive that she has brought to the company and wish her every success in the future.

She leaves behind our fantastic marketing team in the capable hands of Leanne, and we cannot wait to see what she will bring to the role.”

Ideal Standard’s most recent marketing activities include its Together World Tour, which sees six products launched in six different cities around the globe.
