Paul Ricci and Megan Abbotts join the team

International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) has expanded its marketing team with the appointment of Paul Ricci and Megan Abbotts.

Paul Ricci has been named as digital marketing co-ordinator and Megan Abbotts has been employed as marketing assistant.

He has six years of experience and will be overseeing 14 websites, as well as handling the company’s digital functions from e-commerce to email campaigns.

Speaking on his new role, Ricci said: “I am looking forward to implementing the new and exciting programmes we have planned for the websites and communicating them across the business.

“I think it will be brilliant to play a small part in adding something that hopefully colleagues and customers can greatly benefit from.”

Having recently achieved a Level 4 NVQ in business administration, Abbotts will be supporting IDS branches on a daily basis with their marketing and POS requirements.

She has previously worked in sales and marketing, as well as events and publications.

Managing director of IDS John Bagshaw said: “We’re excited to be expanding the marketing team with the additions of Paul and Megan – particularly as this year IDS celebrates 20 years of business.

“It’s a great opportunity to look forward, invest in talent and find the best ways of supporting our 17-strong branches nationwide to deliver the best service to customers. Increasing our marketing output is just one of the ways we’re doing this.”
