Former showrooms director of Jewson Jon Thelwell has joined kitchen, bathroom, bedroom retailer and merchant service provider Acres Consultancy.

He will enhance the company’s expertise in the merchant sector in his role as recruitment and business consultant.

With 20 years’ experience within the KBB and builders’ merchant sectors, Jon Thelwell started his career  with Harcros, before working with Magnet, Moores Furniture Group, Crestwood Fittings, Jewson and Knauf.

Thelwell currently offers consultancy services focusing on commercial strategy development for merchant and SME retailers, as managing director of KBB Diagnostic.

He is also a member of the advisory board of the British Institute of KBB Installation, responsible for developing the organisation’s commercial strategy.
