Showering manufacturer Kudos has appointed Simon Donnelly to the newly-created role of new product development manager.

He joined the business almost a year ago as a mechanical designer, having worked in new product development across architectural metalwork, playground equipment and the transportation industries.

Commenting on the new role, managing director of Kudos Mark Hill said: “We have such a busy new product development programme ahead, we decided to create a role that oversees all new product projects.”

Hill continued: “Simon is an experienced designer, specifically in mechanical engineering.

“He understands the quality that we expect of a product that carries the Kudos brand and all the process involved in bringing it to market.

“His experience is perfect for this role and we wish him every success in delivering our new product schedule.”

Simon Donnelly’s appointment follows the promotion of Paul Booth to operations director.

Kudos Shower Products has manufactured shower products at its Cumbria facility since 1999.  

Its  portfolio includes shower enclosures, shower trays, over-bath screens and wet-room solutions sold through KBB showrooms and merchants across the UK.
