British kitchen manufacturer Moores has promoted key account director Mike Brown to the role of group sales director.
He will focus on driving growth across the company’s sales channels, which include private developers, public sector housing, retail and the CityScape channel, which caters to inner-city developers.
Alongside this overarching responsibility, Brown will also manage key customer relationships to support the company’s ambitious sales strategy and growth plans.
He commented: “I have been with Moores for 19 years now and have built up some great partnerships with both colleagues and customers.
“I am looking forward to working with the leadership team and the rest of the Moores family to deliver a product and service proposition that meets all our customer’s needs.
“Ultimately, this is what will drive our sales strategy forward. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Moores.”
CEO of Moores Mike Barrett added: “We’ve made some strong strategic appointments to our management team over the past few months to facilitate our acceleration.
“We understand the importance of promoting from within and nurturing talent.
“Mike is a prime example of this, and we are excited to utilise his skillset as a way to guide the wider sales team and strengthen our ambitious growth plans for the year ahead.”
Recently celebrating its 75th anniversary of trading, Moores has a 600,000sqft showroom in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
