To support its strategic growth plans, waterproof technology company ProofVision has appointed Ian Green as head of sales and business development.

He joins ProofVision with over 20 years’ experience in the DIY and merchant sectors, working with major retailers including B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Homebase and Travis Perkins.

Green also spent 12 years at home security specialists, Yale UK as a key part of the senior management team.

He led the DIY sales team as national account controller, devising sales strategies, developing new business opportunities and implementing plans to aid the growth of the company.

In his new role at ProofVision, Green will spearhead the sales strategies, working alongside the head of marketing to increase awareness of ProofVision products, including Waterproof Smart TVs and in-wall toothbrush chargers.

Managing distributor and national account relationships, while supporting the sales agents on the road visiting independent bathroom retailers and electrical wholesalers.

In addition to managing a team of agents, he is tasked with increasing the availability of the TBCharge in-wall toothbrush chargers with major retailers.
