Bathroom giant Roca Group UK & Ireland has welcomed Nicola Smith as business development manager for Ireland.
She will be responsible for looking after existing Roca and Laufen customers and building new relationships in Munster and Leinster.
Smith previously worked as a bathroom sales advisor in a Dublin-based showroom, where she honed her customer-relationship skills.

“I always kept up to date with the latest trends and product launches in the industry as well, something which I see as key in my new role too – it’s important to stay ahead,” she commented.
“This is a highly competitive market and it’s vital we stand out with our products and services, adapting to shifting customer needs and preferences as bathroom design evolves.
“These are certainly challenges, but there’s also so much I’m looking forward to, including continuing to grow my expertise in the bathroom industry – there’s always something new to learn!
“And I can’t wait to help customers fall in love with Roca and Laufen products, just as I did when I started.
“But the fact that our brands are well known for product quality and innovation makes our job as a sales team much easier.
“I’m so excited to join the amazing Roca Group team, growing together, tackling challenges and having fun!”
Reporting to Glenn Campbell, Regional Manager – Ireland & Scotland, he commented on her appointment: “Nicola has a strong customer-facing background in a bathroom sales environment, so she’s a great fit for this new role.
“She’s only worked with us for a short time, but her passion for the job and hard work are already shining through and I’m impressed both by her knowledge and enthusiasm. Welcome to the team, Nicola!”
Her appointment is at a time when the company is strengthening its sales team, with the appointment of Barry Gladwish as residential specification manager and Rob Slimming named regional sales manager for the North.
