Bathroom manufacturer Roca UK has appointed David Bromell as head of marketing, overseeing the strategy for both Roca and Laufen brands across all customer sectors.
He has worked for Roca for 10 years, most recently as gallery manager at the multi-award winning, Zaha Hadid-designed Roca London Gallery, for which he retains overall direction.
In his previous role, Bromell was responsible for planning the gallery’s strategic programme of curated exhibitions and events and growing its international reputation as an inspiring space to view Roca’s products.
Managing director of Roca UK Alan Dodds said: “David has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of both Roca and Laufen brands and a great network of contacts across the industry.
“This new strategic marketing role will help to shape the future direction of the business and work closely with our network of customers across the UK and Ireland.”
David Bromell commented on his appointment: “I feel very fortunate to further my journey with the Roca Group in this exciting new role, as we continue to foster the constant evolution of our brands, our product portfolio and our service proposition.”
Founded in 1917, near Barcelona, Roca started out as a manufacturer of cast iron radiators, and started producing vitreous china in 1936 and taps in 1954.
The family-owned business now has over 23,600 employees, manufactures at 78 facilities around the world and is active in over 170 markets.
It established its UK subsidiary in Leicestershire in 1993 and moved to its 145,000sqft HQ in 2019.
