German kitchen furniture manufacturer Rotpunkt has welcomed John McWhinnie as sales manager covering the north of England.

Hired in direct response to increased demand from retailers in the North, for mid to high-end furniture, McWhinnie will cover the M62 north into Scotland.

With over 37 years’ industry experience, he has an in-depth understanding of retail and has built relationships during that time.

His previous roles include national product training manager at Nolte UK, senior designer at Häcker Kitchens in Dubai, as well as showroom manager at SieMatic.

Northern sales manager at Rotpunkt UK John McWhinnie explained: “The kitchen industry is not just a profession for me; it’s a lifelong passion beginning as an apprentice joiner to evolving roles in sales, design, installation, and project management.
