Kitchen furniture manufacturer Stormer has appointed Thomas Klee as sales director.

He joins the company from Rational, where he was export director and then promoted to managing director.

Prior to that Klee worked for Poggenpohl as international business development manager.

As an experienced industry figure, Klee has over 20 years’ experience and will further strengthen the current management team.

In his new role at Stormer German headquarters in Rödinghausen, he will oversee the local and worldwide brand development, working with retailer networks.

Managing director of Stormer UK Bodie Kelay commented on the new appointment. “We are very pleased Thomas has joined us at a pivotal time for our brand, with the exclusive launch of Villeroy & Boch and new 2020 designs.

“UK retailers will have the opportunity to meet with Thomas and the UK team during Hausmesse and experience the latest innovations”.

Stormer will officially launch its Villeroy & Boch concept kitchens at its Hausmesse in Forum 26, Rödinghausen, Germany,  September 14-20.

The collaboration between two leading German brands has been designed to offer UK and international retailers access to a new design platform where a premium brand choice is an important consumer requisite.

Established since 1958, Stormer has 45,000sqm manufacturing facilities which makes over 1,000 furniture parts on a daily basis.

The company employes more than 180 people and its furniture is sold worldwide through a network of 500 independent kitchen showrooms.
