Shower manufacturer Aqualisa has appointed Stuart Clark as head of new product development.

He will lead the company’s product innovation strategy and will be instrumental in expanding its reach into international markets.

With 16 years’ experience at Morphy Richards, where he most recently held the position of head of product innovation and quality assurance, he was responsible for the launch of award-winning consumer appliances.

He also managed strategic business partnerships, oversaw the introduction of a quality control programme and was influential in the creation of a STEM education centre for disadvantaged children.

With a career in engineering and technology, his previous roles include operations manager at GTM Cars and design engineers at RDM Group.

At Aqualisa, Clark will focus on driving innovation, particularly in the smart bathroom category, and will spearhead the company’s new product development and sustainability strategies.

He will collaborate with Aqualisa’s marketing and supply chain teams to devise and implement an “innovation roadmap” to penetrate global markets and will head up a team of design engineers.

The appointment of Stuart Clark follows the promotion of Kate Lovell to head of marketing.
