Kitchen supplier TKC has appointed Danny Fowler as area sales manager, covering Yorkshire and the North East of England.

He will be responsible for strengthening new and existing customer relations, with a brief to continue driving sales in the region.

Fowler is an experienced sales manager, with a history of working in furniture, and most recently was employed as an area sales manager at Uform.

Prior to this he spent over 10 years as business development executive at Lyreco, a specialist in office furniture and workplace solutions.

Sales director at TKC Andy Marshall commented: “Danny’s predecessor Mick Stirr was with TKC for 20 years, so it was vital to get this appointment right.

“Danny has really impressed me with his professionalism and drive and is already making a big impression on our business.

“He’s settled really quickly and I wish him a long and successful career at TKC.”

Danny Fowler added: “I’m thrilled to have joined TKC. The team is friendly and supportive, while my customers are happy with how we’re looking after them and we have plenty of stock on the ground.

“Our imminent product launch, including Fir Green from stock, our new Grantham door, new configurations and our new handle range is being superbly well received. They’ll play a key part in helping me grow our customer base.”

TKC has recently strengthened its senior leadership team, with the appointment of Neil Munro as group operations director.
