Irish kitchen and bedroom manufacturer Uform has announced nine appointments across sales, business development and marketing departments, and with roles spanning the UK.

Maria Lopez Alonso has joined the company as head of business development, having worked for a manufacturing company for the past seven years.

Alonso will manage the Business Development team who are responsible for generating new business and onboarding new customers.

She brings with her expertise in sales and customer service team management, strategy and budget planning as well as product innovation.

Stephen McIlroy joins the company as business development executive for the North East / Scotland to generate, identify and grow new and existing accounts in the region

With previous experience in business development, he brings with him communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Paul Robinson joins Uform as business development executive, covering South Central UK region.

With seven years’ experience in sales and business development working for a media agency in the North West, including a period with Sinc Kitchens, Robinson brings negotiation and networking skills to his role.

While joining the sales team is Paul Simms who is area sales manager for North East / Cumbria / Scotland.

He has over 25 years experience across a range of sectors, including a period with Elite Interiors.

Simms has knowledge of kitchen and bedroom installation, as well as regional and national sales management, and will be responsible for managing and growing sales within the independent showrooms and trade manufacturers in his territory.

Having spent the past 19 years working in the appliance industry, Louise Herterich has been named area sales manager for the North West of England.

She will be responsible for managing existing key accounts, developing new business and providing customer service to retail and trade customers.

Named area sales manager for GB Northern Home Counties and East Anglia, Corin Smith has worked for the past 14 years in various roles across the KBB industry.

She has a range of knowledge, including having been a kitchen designer for both the contracts market and direct to end consumer.

After spending the past 15 years working in the furniture industry, including 10 years as an area sales manager, Micheál Concannonjoins Uform as area sales manager for West of Ireland.

Having previously worked as a Buyer for EZ Living Furniture and, prior to that, area sales manager for Bentley Designs (UK) Ltd, Concannon brings with him knowledge of the market.

While the marketing team will see the appointment of David Bell as content marketer, who previously worked for a global cycling and outdoor sports e-commerce retailer for the past eight years.

He brings with him knowledge of copywriting, media production, content creation, SEO optimisation and photo-imaging to his role and will work across the business to develop video, photo and blog content for both trade and consumer brands.

Completing the line-up of new appointments Shaunagh Devlin has been named Kitchen Stori brand manager and brings over 10 years’ experience in marketing across home, interiors and manufacturing.

She will play a key role in executing the rebrand of the current Kitchen Stori consumer brand, both to trade audiences and to homeowners, working on brand awareness initiatives in addition to the launch and management of the new Retail Partner Programme.
