V-ZUG appoints Sam Rogers head of sales

Former Fisher & Paykel contracts manager joins premium Swiss appliance manufacturer

Premium Swiss home appliance manufacturer V-ZUG has expanded its UK team, with the appointment of Sam Rogers into a newly formulated head of sales role.

He joins the company with a wealth of experience from Miele in senior projects and sales roles, and most recently Fisher & Paykel where he held the role of national contracts manager.

Rogers will be tasked with engaging and demonstrating the brand difference to kitchen retailers.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’m very excited to be joining V-ZUG. The company is vibrant and real pioneers in their innovation and design principles and I’m excited to be able to demonstrate the truly world-leading appliances and Swiss values to retail partners in the UK.”

Managing director of V-ZUG UK David Knight said, “We’re very proud to have Sam join our UK team. His focus, experience and drive will be a key part of our growth plan in the UK to grow retail presence. Sam is joining us as we start growing the brand in the UK, and we’re very excited by what the next year holds.”

V-ZUG is set to launch a range of activities to grow the brand in the UK, including a live virtual event in December to demonstrate the company’s roots, sustainable values and design ethics, hosted by architect Oliver Heath.

In 2021, V-ZUG UK also has plans to open the first flagship “Zugorama” showroom in London, to showcase the brand and its values.
